Creating a Welcoming Space
Amara has been a part of the organization since 2002 and now serves as the Service Director for CEDARS Family Resources. She supports CEDARS continuum of prevention services, three Community Learning Centers (CLCs), Northbridge Early Childhood Development Center (ECDC), and clinical services.
Amara’s knowledge, experience, and talent have had a positive influence on the organization for more than 20 years. One of her many significant contributions has come in the form of her visionary approach to helping design the interior of Carriage House.
When taking a walk through Carriage House, Amara’s attention to detail is evident. From thoughtfully chosen colors that promote calm and positivity to comfortable furniture that makes guests feel at home, each element reflects Amara’s deep understanding of the needs of those who Carriage House will serve.
Her knack for interior design and home decorating can be seen in other areas of CEDARS, as well. Amara has helped to redesign and stage various areas of our administrative offices on Pioneers Boulevard, transforming them into inviting spaces that help everyone who steps through our doors feel welcome.
We are so grateful for Amara and the many talents she has shared with us over the years. Thank you, Amara!
