Summer Fun for Kids at CEDARS
Over the summer, kids at CEDARS have been enjoying the season through fun, educational activities that keep them active, engaged, and learning all summer long.
CEDARS Community Learning Centers (CLCs) provide before-and-after school care for school age kids at Clinton, Hartley, Randolph, and Roper elementary schools in Lincoln. During the summer, we provide all-day programming filled with opportunities for kids to explore new interests and build friendships. This year, CLC kids have stayed busy with pool days, field trips to local favorites like the Lincoln Children’s Zoo and city parks, and hands-on activities such as volleyball camp and art club.
The babies and toddlers at CEDARS Early Childhood Development Center (ECDC) are soaking up the summer fun, too. Whether tending to their garden, playing outside, or cooling off indoors with arts and crafts, CEDARS littlest learners are constantly growing and exploring.
Summer at CEDARS is filled with moments that help kids learn, connect, and thrive, creating lasting memories.
